What is a lmia?

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that demonstrates a Canadian employer’s inability to find local workers for a specific job and confirms their ability to meet salary and program requirements. We assist in advertising job openings and proving that no Canadian workers were available. Upon completion, you receive a positive LMIA, either with a worker’s name (if already identified) or without (if hiring later). You can apply for multiple positions, but each LMIA must be for the same occupation.
